Before he can continue, Baron Corbin interrupts.

Baron orders Cena to “respect” him because he is the Money In The Bank winner. John hits back verbally, but Corbin backs away and holds up the briefcase. He tells Cena that he’s Not worth my time.”

The fans are hyped for Shane, and the Commissioner thanks them. He talks about his involvement as Special Referee for the United States Championship between Kevin Owens and Champion A.J. Styles at SummerSlam. He introduces both and gives them each a microphone.

A.J. and Kevin jaw at each other, so Shane splits them. Kevin says he’s sorry for yelling at McMahon for being placed as the referee by GM Bryan; Kevin nods to the “Montreal Screwjob” as “one legendary wrestler being screwed out of a title by a McMahon.” The fans chant “you screwed Bret,” but Owens says that Bret deserved it! Kevin also reminds Shane what Styles did to him back in March, leading up to their WrestleMania match.

A.J. owns up that he wasn’t thrilled when Bryan made Shane the ref, but if anything does happen, he warns there will be “repercussions.” Kevin also shows footage from Survivor Series 1998, when McMahon as the referee “screwed” “Stone Cold” Steve Austin out of the then-WWF Championship. Styles has had enough and wants to go tonight, minus Shane, but Owens wants to wait and “win the United States Championship in the United Sates, in a city that actually matters!” A.J. and Kevin start to go at it, and Owens shoves Shane into a Pele Kick and then walks away, laughing and bowing!
