Slammy Awards show brings in a few surprises and returns

The Slammy Awards Monday Night RAW had some surprise appearances during the broadcast, both in backstage segments and even in the ring.

When it comes to presenting awards, The New Age Outlaws came out in DX gear for the first time since their reunion during the 1,000th episode of RAW back in July. WWE Hall of Famers Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Mean Gene Okerlund, and Jim Ross also presented a Slammy.

The biggest return was that of Ric Flair however, who even was in a lengthy segment with John Cena, CM Punk, Paul Heyman, The Shield, Daniel Bryan, Kane, and Ryback.

Another Hall of Famer, Ron Simmons, appeared in a backstage segment while the Boogeyman interrupted Booker T during the presentation of the first Slammy Award.

And finally, a familiar face return to Philadelphia as former ECW champ Tommy Dreamer was the surprise partner of Alberto Del Rio and The Miz when they took on 3MB. Dreamer won the match via his DDT finisher but was then attacked backstage by The Shield.
