Six-woman tag team match moved to the Royal Rumble Kickoff show

The six-woman tag team match that was announced for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view was given the boot off the PPV part of the broadcast and will now be part of the Kickoff show.

The match – featuring Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, and Noami taking on Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, and Natalya – was announced as a match on the card during Tuesday’s Smackdown.

Today, WWE.COM confirmed that the match was moved to the Kickoff show, which already had two matches with Sheamus and Cesaro vs Gallows and Anderson and Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax.

This will be a two-hour Kickoff show which will be hosted by Renee Young, Booker T, Shawn Michaels, Peter Rosenberg, and the returning Jerry “The King” Lawler. It starts at 5PM EST.
