Sheamus surprises soldier on set of HLN’s Morning Express

World Heavyweight champion Sheamus made one soldier very happy on Friday after he made a surprise appearance on HLN’s Morning Express set to give the soldier some great news.

Staff Sgt. Clay Ragsdale – a huge wrestling fan – and a member of the Georgia National Guard was invited to HLN as part of their series where every week they invite a service member leading up to Veterans Day. In 2009, Staff Sgt. Ragsdale was injured by shrapnel in Afghanistan, while serving with the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. Now, he helps provide honors during military funerals at the Georgia National Guard’s Joint Force Headquarters.

Sheamus walked on set to surprise Staff Sgt. Ragsdale and offered him a ringside seat for WrestleMania and tickets to the Hall of Fame and RAW. Apart from that, WWE is also picking up the tab for his flight and accommodations for him and a guest.

Sheamus also invited him to be his special guest tonight at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. You can see the cool TV segment below.
