Rollins to battle Triple H in non-sanctioned match at WrestleMania 33

WrestleMania 33 gained its 13th match on the card as the non-sanctioned match between Triple H and Seth Rollins was made official last night on Monday Night Raw.

The two have been rumored to be wrestling on the show for several months, ever since Triple H turned on Rollins the night after SummerSlam, helping Kevin Owens win the Universal title. Unfortunately for Rollins, he was once again injured a couple of months ago after he was attacked by Raw new arrival Samoa Joe.

Rollins’ involvement at WrestleMania was a touch and go as the knee he injured was the same one that needed surgery back in 2015. The match was kept off the card until the very last minute even though Rollins was cleared from his injury a few weeks ago.

Had Rollins missed this year’s WrestleMania, it would have been the second one in a row that he missed due to injury. He closed WrestleMania 31, walking out of Levi’s Stadium as the WWE champion after cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase.
