Raw brand to travel to England and Far East next month

The Raw brand will be racking up some miles next month as September will see the red roster go to England and the Far East for a couple of shows.

The upcoming one night only WWE Live in London at the O2 Arena will take place on Wednesday, September 7. This was originally thought to be a WWE Network event when it was announced however it’s not the case and seems to be just a regular non-televised live event. WWE goes to the England twice a year as part of their European tours in April and November however this stand alone event doesn’t form part of any tour in the region.

From London, the Raw roster, plus John Cena, will travel to Manila in Philippines for an event on Friday, September 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Their stop in the Philippines will be short as immediately following the event, they take the 1,100 mile flight north to Shanghai, China, for a show on September 10 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. The Shanghai show will be special for Bin Wang, the first-ever Chinese WWE developmental wrestler who will make his debut on the show in front of his home country fans.

Interesting to note that Cena will not be part of the first post-draft brand-specific pay-per-view Backlash with the Smackdown brand since he will be in China with the tour. Backlash takes place on September 11.
