NXT TV tonight to feature the debut of Eric Young

The NXT show tonight on the WWE Network will feature the debut of former TNA champion Eric Young, who confronted the brand new NXT champion and old TNA colleague Samoa Joe.

Young, along with Bobby Roode, quit TNA on March 19 and both were expected to make the transition to WWE. While Bobby Roode has appeared at NXT Takeover: Dallas and even acknowledged on screen, he has yet to officially sign a deal. Last month he told his hometown newspaper that it’s the plan to sign with WWE and a deal will be done shortly.

There were no announcements that Young has actually signed a deal either so this could also be a deal similar to the one James Storm had where he appeared at NXT, wrestled a couple of times and then eventually left without signing on the dotted line, returning to TNA.

Eric Young worked three times for WWE in 2003, appearing twice on Velocity and once on Sunday Night Heat.
