NXT Takeover: New York results

Here are the results from NXT Takeover: New York which took place from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The War Raiders defeated Aleister Black and Ricochet to retain the NXT Tag Team titles; Velveteen Dream defeated Matt Riddle to retain the North American title; Walter defeated Pete Dunne to become the new WWE United Kingdom champion; Shayna Baszler defeated Bianca Belair, Io Shirai, and Kairi Sane to retain the NXT Women’s title in a fatal 4-way match; Johnny Gargano defeated Adam Cole in a two-out-of-three falls match to become the new NXT champion.

Other notes: The attendance for this show was 15,697 and the Barclays Center was sold out. Piper Niven, Toni Storm, Kushida, Edge, and Beth Phoenix were all shown in the crowd during the broadcast. Tommaso Ciampa came out in a neck brace at the end of the broadcast to celebrate with Gargano and his wife at the top of the ramp.
