No Lesnar opponent announced at Smackdown tapings

At the Smackdown tapings yesterday there was no mention of Brock Lesnar’s opponent for SummerSlam so it looks like the announcement will be made in post-production to give fans a reason to tune in.

WWE mentioned on Raw that Brock’s opponent will be made on the show and fans who were live in the arena expected the announcement. But since it would have been spoiled the second it was announced, WWE is opting to delay the announcement till the show airs on USA Network tomorrow.

While no hints were given on who Lesnar’s opponent will be, there are strong rumors that it will be the returning Randy Orton. Brock will face Mark Hunt this Saturday night in Las Vegas at UFC 200, his first fight back since December 2011.
