It’s Bayley! NXT star debuts at Battleground

27-year-old Bayley finally made her main roster debut last night at the Battleground pay-per-view as Sasha Banks’ mystery partner.

Bayley was the last one to be introduced and received a massive pop from the Washington crowd as Banks stood in the ring with a big smile on her face as one of her best friends made her way out.

Bayley has been signed with the WWE since December 2012 and she’s been a major part of NXT over the past few years, winning the NXT Women’s title from Banks at the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn in one of the most highly-rated women’s wrestling matches ever. She lost the title to Asuka at the NXT Takeover: Dallas event in April.

She was expected to be part of the NXT 6 that were part of the WWE Draft last week but was not drafted to keep the surprise factor. She is one of the most popular WWE Superstars and connects big time with the kids with many comparing her to John Cena in terms of popularity with the younger audience.

It’s not known at this point if Bayley will permanently move to the main roster or if it was just a one-off appearance for now but she’s once again involved in the NXT Women’s title picture.
