Eva Marie releases statement, admits fault for getting suspended

Eva Marie, who was suspended for 30 days for her first violation of the WWE Wellness Program, submitted a statement to TMZ.COM to explain what happened.

Unlike her husband, who tweeted – and then deleted – that she was unjustly suspended and fans would be outraged when the truth will come out, Eva accepted the suspension and admitted her mistake.

“I am disappointed that this suspension has occurred, yet understand and respect that WWE upholds their Wellness Policy to the letter and won’t compromise on its integrity,” the statement said. “I violated policy by not turning in portions of required paperwork in the time frame WWE Medical deemed timely. I look forward to my return!”

TMZ says that Eva had a prescription for Adderall, a stimulant that can treat ADHD and narcolepsy. Adderall, which is the brand name for the drug amphetamine, is banned under the WWE Wellness Program unless proper prescription is submitted, something that Eva admitted on failing to do.
