Daniel Bryan likely re-signing new deal with WWE

While not confirming 100% that he is signing a new WWE deal, Daniel Bryan said during the Sam Roberts podcast that he is 90% sure that he would be staying.

During the podcast, recorded a few weeks ago, Bryan said that both parties still need to iron out some details and it would take a few weeks to do it but remained optimistic about the outcome. “It’s very likely I’ll re-sign with WWE,” Bryan said.

His contract expires at the end of this month and he would be a free agent on September 1 if he does not extend his deal. Bryan was dead set on leaving WWE if the company had not cleared him to wrestle and that happened earlier this year just in time for WrestleMania.

Bryan leaving WWE would complicate things for his wife who is featured on Total Divas and also has her own show Total Bellas with her sister on E!
