Daniel Bryan announces he’s entering the 2015 Royal Rumble

Former WWE World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan announced on Raw last night that he will be entering the 2015 Royal Rumble 30-man over-the-top rope match.

Just hours before appearing on Raw, Bryan sent out a tweet that many thought he would be announcing his retirement. “Everyone comes to a crossroads in their life and I’ve come to mine. I look forward to telling you all about it tonight on #Raw,” he wrote.

But that wasn’t the case and the former champ will be lacing up his boots again for the first time in 8 months. Bryan last wrestled in May against Kane at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, successfully defending the title he won at WrestleMania XXX.

Bryan struggled to get back in shape after he underwent neck surgery and there was a possibility of him undergoing another surgery but the second surgery was avoided.
