Clash of Champions matches added, Women’s title match switched to triple threat

The Clash of Champions pay-per-view for this Sunday took shape on Raw last night with several matches announced and a change to one title match.

The best-of-seven series between Sheamus and Cesaro is going to full distance as expected with Cesaro winning match six last night. The two will now go into match seven with three wins each, with the winner of this Sunday’s match winning the series.

The Cruiserweight title will be on the line with newly-crowned champion TJ Perkins defending against Brian Kendrick, who had to defeat Gran Metalik, Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann in a fatal-4-way.

Roman Reigns will get a title match, although not the one he originally wanted. Mick Foley granted Reigns a United States title match against champion Rusev.

The Raw Women’s title got changed from a one-on-one match to a triple threat match also involving Bayley. Replays from last week’s Raw showed that both Bayley’s and Sasha Banks’ shoulders were on the mat when the referee went for the three count and awarded the match to Banks.

The Kickoff show will see Nia Jax taking on Alicia Fox.
