Chris Jericho ends another stint with WWE

Y2J Chris Jericho said his goodbye to his WWE fans yesterday on Monday Night RAW as he once again leaves for duty with his band Fozzy.

Jericho fought Dolph Ziggler with the stipulation being that if Jericho won, he’d get the Money In The Bank contract which belonged to Ziggler while if Ziggler won, Jericho’s contract would be terminated. Ziggler eventually won the match, sending Jericho packing. The outcome was not a surprise as Jericho made it clear that he would be leaving in the Summer.

“Thanks to all of my Jerichoholics for an amazing 9 months! I have the BEST fans and I promise u haven’t seen the last of Y2J,” Jericho wrote on Twitter. “See u on tour…And congrats to @heelziggler for finally winning the big one…”

The first Undisputed WWE champion made his return to WWE during the first RAW of 2012 after a fifteen month hiatus from the company.
