Cesaro returns on Raw after 5 months

When Sami Zayn got taken out from the Raw main event last night, the majority of the crowd expected two people to take his place – John Cena or Randy Orton. But the powers that be left the main event with four smart marks favorites and chose Cesaro as the fourth person.

The Swiss Superman received a rock star welcome from the audience, welcoming him back for his first WWE televised appearance since he underwent surgery back in November. There was no Cesaro Section at the American Airlines Center but rather it was the Cesaro Center.

Cesaro, just like Cena, had a rotator cuff problem that needed to be taken care of and his process of rehab took around five months. Cesaro was announced that he would be wrestling on the upcoming WWE WrestleMania Revenge Tour of Europe, with his first date in the Netherlands in around 10 days.

His fellow Superstars welcomed him on Twitter with genuine nice messages as Cesaro is considered one of the most nicest guys in the locker room. His return also carried a tribute to his former tag team partner Tyson Kidd, locking in the Sharpshooter during the match.

You can see the video of his return below.
