Cesaro after botched suicide dive: “I’ll be OK”

Cesaro’s suicide dive on Sheamus last night at Clash of Champions almost had a disastrous ending as Cesaro nearly broke his neck when landing.

Cesaro dipped his head as soon as he went flying through the ropes, giving Sheamus no time to adjust to try and break his fall. Cesaro landed awkwardly on his neck and Sheamus immediately grabbed him upon landing to check that he’s okay.

“Thanks for all the messages. I’ll be ok. The sadness over the way the match ended overshadows my neck pain,” Cesaro wrote on his Twitter.

The final match of the best-of-seven series between the two ended in a no contest due to “injuries” that the two sustained during the match.
