Bella Twins at NBC Upfronts in New York today

Brie and Nikki Bella are currently in New York to participate at the NBC Universal Upfronts event which is being held at the Javits Center.

Their appearance, tied to E! and their show Total Divas, will surely confirm rumors that WWE is staying with NBC Universal with their new television deal as it would have made no sense to send anyone to promote a show that would not be airing on NBC Universal properties next season. The current season of Total Divas ends in two weeks.

The current deal expires on October 1 and WWE can move to a new network then although yesterday several analysts basically confirmed that WWE is sticking with NBC Universal in a new deal that is just a few more than the current $140 million deal they have. WWE was hoping to double that amount but it looks like no other network decided to shell out that kind of money because NBC had the right to match any offer and keep WWE on its network even after their exclusive window expired.
