Battleground 2016 pay-per-view results

Here are the results from last night’s Battleground pay-per-view which took place from the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

Breezango defeated The Usos in the Kickoff match; Sasha Banks and mystery partner Bayley defeated Charlotte and Dana Brooke; The Wyatt Family defeated The New Day; Rusev defeated Zack Ryder to retain the United States title; Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens; Natalya defeated Becky Lynch; The Miz vs Darren Young for the Intercontinental title went to a double disqualification; John Cena, Enzo Amore and Big Cass defeated The Club; Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a triple threat match to retain the WWE title.

The PPV also featured the return of Randy Orton who was a guest of Chris Jericho on The Highlight Reel. Orton hit the first RKO in 9 months on Y2J.
