Alberto Del Rio blames AAA for disorganization over dropping the AAA title

In an interview with Mexico-based Cancha.com, WWE United States champion Alberto Del Rio blamed AAA for their disorganization in the mess up that led to him not dropping the AAA title in the ring.

Del Rio said that WWE gave him permission to wrestle at the AAA Guerra de Titanes show on December 4 and any other show he had committed to prior to signing with WWE but AAA changed the date of the event which was going to conflict with his WWE dates.

Del Rio regretted not being able to say goodbye the proper way in Mexico but said that AAA should be blamed and not WWE. “The only reason I could not finish my last two matches in Mexico and lose the championship as it’s supposed to is completely due to the disorganization of the company I worked for,” Del Rio said.
