You can add Daniel Bryan’s name to the list of mystery opponents rumored for tonight’s U.S. Title open challenge with the latest rumor being that Bryan was spotted by fans on a flight to Los Angeles.
Recently Bryan revealed that while he was cleared by a doctor who specializes in concussions, the WWE medical team has not cleared him to return and he had to go to a third doctor to pretty much break up the tie and decide his future. WWE has been reluctant in clearing him after two serious injuries exactly after WrestleMania 30 and 31 forced him to drop the two titles he won at those events.
Bryan last wrestled on the April 14 Smackdown taping in Europe and has been sidelined ever since. He relinquished the Intercontinental title and then went on to be a judge on Tough Enough.
The list of rumored names in the Los Angeles area for tonight’s show will no doubt keep on increasing.
