TNA removing guaranteed contracts for majority of talent

PWInsider.com is reporting that TNA informed a majority of their talent roster that their guaranteed contracts will be gone and instead they will be paid on per-appearance basis.

The removal of the current guaranteed income – regardless if used or not – means that talent will be making less money as TNA still paid per appearance on top of the guaranteed deal.

The company will keep its main talent such as their champion and other major names with the same deals but others who are not lucky enough will be getting a little more per appearance to somewhat compensate for the loss of the guaranteed income according to PWInsider.

It’s likely that those who will take the new deal still can’t appear on other television shows although they would be able to take other bookings for shows that are not televised.
