The Final Deletion lives up to the hype

On Tuesday night, TNA probably delivered their best segment in the show’s history, a Jeff vs Matt Hardy match that saw Broken Matt finally defeat Brother Nero.

Shot completely different from your typical wrestling match, the Final Deletion took place in Cameron, North Carolina in a backyard ring that had no TNA logos at all. The match was filmed like a movie with no commentary in the background but a continuous soundtrack that fit perfectly for the occasion. With smoke, fireworks, fire, insane bumps, water, and everything in between, this match would have made any Hollywood director pop.

The segment was met with praise from the majority of the online community, including WWE Superstar Chris Jericho who described it as brilliant, calling the Broken Matt character the best in TNA history.

The hype behind the match also helped TNA produce its best rating for Impact in a very long time. You can watch the match in full below.
