Josh Mathews blasts WWE for their “hypocrisy” on Samoa Joe

Former WWE announcer and current TNA Impact commentator Josh Mathews blasted WWE for their “hypocrisy” in a Twitter message after Samoa Joe made his debut on NXT.

“How did the @WWENXT announcers know who @SamoaJoe was if we are #obscurity in their world? Sick of hypocrisy,” Mathews said. WWE does not acknowledge TNA on television and they try not to mention anything about them.

When fans fired back saying he was just bitter because he was released, Mathews said that he’s getting “paid in buckets of money” and he enjoys “large sums of $$$” put into his bank account.

Perhaps the best reply came from someone who mentioned to Mathews that just like WWE gave him a platform, TNA gave Samoa Joe one and they both moved on – in different directions.
