Davey Richards of The Wolves suffers injury at TNA tapings in England

One half of The Wolves, Davey Richards, suffered a knee injury during last night’s final stop of the TNA Maximum Impact Tour in the United Kingdom while wrestling with his tag team partner against Beer Money.

The TNA Twitter account confirmed that Richards was diagnosed with a meniscus issue and an MRI is scheduled as soon as everyone heads back home. Richards tweeted  that the worst part of getting hurt is that when he lands back in St. Louis, he will have to go to college to take his math test before undergoing the MRI!

The 32 year old apologized to the fans and said when he’s back he will give them the match that they deserve as they deserved better than what he gave. “Thanx for your  concern. Getting hurt is part of the job, but at least I got hurt fighting 2 of the best @REALBobbyRoode & @JamesStormBrand.“

He also thanked the TNA family for the help and kindness they showed to him, gestures that put him “almost in tears.” Richards shot down the rumors of bad morale in the locker room, a sentiment which was also echoed by Gregory Helms who said he hopes he never again hears this “bullshit” lies.
