Steve Austin predicts big things for Fandango

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin wrote on Twitter that judging by the reaction Fandango has been getting since the night after WrestleMania, he predicts some big things for him in the coming months.

“Bold prediction – Fandango will be IC champ within 6-8 months,” Austin wrote. “You heard it here first.”

Meanwhile, the Fandango theme song just missed the UK Top 40 chart according to W-O reader Ian Hamilton, coming in 44th place just 239 copies away from making history.

Austin inks two new movie deals with Anchor Bay

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has signed a new two-picture deal with Anchor Bay Films where he will also help produce under his own Broken Skull Ranch Productions brand.

The first movie will be called ‘Kill Em All, John,’ where Austin will play an ex-hitman who is pulled back into action to terminate a number of crime bosses in a race against time. Filming will start this Summer.

There is no info yet on what the second movie is.

These will be the fourth and fifth movies that Austin has filmed for Anchor Bay. He previously starred in Maximum Conviction, Hunt To Kill, and the upcoming video The Package.

A press release for Steve Austin’s next movie The Package is making the rounds today even though it was released two weeks ago by Anchor Bay Entertainment.

The press release announced the Blu-Ray and DVD release date for the movie – which also stars Dolph Lundgren – for February 19, 2013. The movie is about Austin as a nightclub bouncer who works for a Seattle crime boss and has to hand deliver a secret package to another crime lord, played by Lundgren.

Steve Austin fires back at CM Punk, calls him a joke

Stone Cold Steve Austin responded to CM Punk after the WWE champion once again name-checked him on Monday Night RAW this week, the second time he’s done it in two weeks.

In a video posted on Whosay.com – apparently Austin hasn’t jumped on the Tout bandwagon yet – the former WWE champion said he heard that CM Punk has been running him down on RAW. He admitted that he hasn’t seen the show but he’ll catch it online and respond accordingly on his website. He said he’s not going to let him talk trash about him and let it slide.

“You call yourself the best in the world? You’re a damn joke,” Austin said. “You are looking, you are listening, to the best in the world, and that’s all I got to say about that.”

Steve Austin reacts to Punk’s comments from RAW

Stone Cold Steve Austin looks like he is going to reignite the Twitter “war” with CM Punk after leaving some comments following yesterday’s RAW.

During the show, Punk interrupted the Jim Ross Appreciation Night segment, and made fun of Ross and tried to force him to say that he’s the best in the world while also knocking Ross for his friendship with Stone Cold.

Austin is currently in Mexico filming the second season of CMT’s Redneck Island and he posted a message on Twitter following the show saying, “I was in a bar in Mexico watching the football game. Word on the street was some low end piece of trash was talking smack on #WWE RAW. #SCSA”

The “low end piece of trash” is obviously a remark towards the WWE champion CM Punk who did talk smack about the Hall of Famer during the show. The two had some sort of a battle earlier this year on the social network website and Punk often said that he’d love to wrestle Steve Austin.
