Garcia was struck by an SUV as she was working out in late October and was admitted to the hospital where the initial reports from WWE suggested that she was stable and expected to be released soon. However the story quickly changed and Garcia was kept in hospital due to her injuries, particularly head, neck, and back trauma.

“I actually had butterflies in my stomach driving up,” the WWE Diva told WWE.com, referring to going to the arena for the tapings. “After 11 years, you’d think this would be old hat to me, but it all feels new again.”

Although it has been over a month that she was struck by the SUV, Garcia still undergoes physical therapy. She thanked the WWE fans for their love and support and said that it’s the reason that she worked hard with physical therapists and chiropractors to be able to come back.

The WWE Diva was hit by an SUV while she was working out and said it has been the most frightening thing that she ever had to go through,

“I’m suffering from head, neck and back trauma. I have lacerations and wounds on the left side of my body,” Garcia said.

Although feeling better, Garcia remains on pain medication and thanked the UCLA medical team for taking great care of her.

There is still no timetable for her return to the ring and will be undergoing further testing next week.

“The most amazing fans in the world are WWE fans. Thank you for the outpouring of love, well wishes and the support.”

“You guys have been amazing during this time. I have the best medical care so I’m doing my best to hurry up and come back! Love you,” Garcia said in her message, sporting a neck brace while sitting on a sofa.

“Lilian has been released from the LA hospital, but is still under medical watch due to her body injuries,” her husband Chris said. “The love, support and prayers from our immediate family, our friends and the WWE family and Universe is extremely heartfelt and strengthening during this unfortunate time.”

Garcia is not expected to be back on the job till she’s 100%. She was struck by a car on Friday in Los Angeles and had been in the hospital ever since.

Garcia was struck by a car, suffering multiple contusions and lacerations on the left side of her body according to WWE.COM. Doctors have immobilized Garcia’s neck and will be keeping her hospitalized overnight to monitor her.

Her condition is listed as stable and she is expected to make a full recovery.
