The article states that Hogan’s attorneys are firing off letters to websites who have posted screenshots or published any part of the footage from the sex tape threatening to take legal action against them.

One website which was targeted is TheDirty.com and it seems like that the editors have complied as the entry for their two posts regarding the sex tape have been emptied.

It will be interesting to see how Hogan’s team plan to eliminate the tape from the Internet since as you might have guessed, it’s quite a bit difficult to wipe something completely off the web!

“The order to remove the purely editorial work of a Gawker staffer describing what he had seen—no matter how frivolous or dumb or salacious—is plainly unconstitutional,” Cook wrote on the website. “The order to take down the video was mistaken, but it’s a far different thing than barring a reporter from writing true things about what he’d watched.”

The report in question is a 1,400-narrative of the video written by a former Gawker editor as well as the 466 comments that users submitted in reply to the post.

Cook said that they are appealing the decision, and they have removed the video itself, however, to remove the text “is grossly unconstitutional” and they would not be taking it down.

A judge at a hearing yesterday in a Florida state court has granted the Hulkster’s request for a temporary restraining order against Gawker, and now the website has to pull the video from the page as well as hand over all versions and copies of the full-length sex tape and all other clips, photos, and transcripts they have in possession.

Hogan filed the $100 million lawsuit in October of last year but so far has lost every battle round in court against the website after a previous judge pointed to the First Amendment, saying that Gawker’s publishing of the video was “in conjunction with the news reporting function.”

Initially Hogan filed a federal lawsuit but then dropped it to re-file it in state court, with Judge Pamela Campbell of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, agreeing with the former WWE and WCW champion.

The lawsuit is far from over however at least Hogan’s bare butt will not be online anymore, at least not on Gawker’s website.

Equifax confirmed the security breach on Tuesday according to ABC News after a Russian website posted the information online.

Celebrities who were hacked include Kim Kardashian, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Mel Gibson, Britney Spears, first lady Michelle Obama and others, including possibly Vice President Joe Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Hogan will be joined on stage by his friend and sometimes business partner Eric Bischoff to participate in a chat with fans, recounting stories from his wrestling career.

Ring announcer Dave Penzer will then moderate a Q&A with the audience where Hogan will answer all the questions put forward.

Tickets will sell between $30 and $300 with the VIP seats including a post-event meet and greet with the Hulkster as well as an autograph and photo opportunity.

Hogan linked to a photo on his Twitter account showing Brooke in a very, very short dress with the words, “Brooke’s legs.” After several fans called him a creep, Hogan deleted the image but then lashed out to those who were calling him creep and a perv.

He said that the photo was taken by a fan which Brooke loved and she tweeted thank you back after the image was sent to her via to social network website. “Proud dad tweets it,” Hogan wrote, saying that there are creeps and perverts everywhere.

His daughter Brooke was also annoyed that they picked on him, calling those people “ignorant” and told them to “go back to your farm animals.”

29 years ago today, on January 23, 1984, professional wrestling got its biggest kick start when Hulk Hogan defeated the Iron Sheik at Madison Square Garden to win the WWF title. On that day, Hulkamania was born, and as they say, the rest is history.

On Twitter, the WWE Hall of Famer and now TNA personality Hulk Hogan mentioned the historic date.

“29yrs ago humbled the curley toed jabronie in MSG and changed the world of pro wrestling forever brother,let the entertainment begin HH4life,” Hogan wrote.

Sheik also took it to Twitter to respond to Hogan’s comment.

“29 year ago I make the hulkamania hulkamania. If no Iron Sheik they never be the Hulk Hogan,” he replied.

Sheiky then turned to his usual funny self, bashing Hogan for having a “rice crispy dick” and for being a “no good motherf!@#er.”

Hogan’s attorneys said that he had a “phase out contract” opportunity which included a match against John Cena which was supposed to wrap up his wrestling career. However, the multiple surgeries which were suggested by LSI halted everything.

The match and appearance opportunities before and after the event was worth $50 million according to Hogan’s contract claim.

There has been no response from Laser Spine Institute yet regarding the lawsuit.

TNA will hold five events – in Dublin, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, and London – as part of their annual tour in the United Kingdom, this year titled Road to Lockdown Tour.

The company will tape a month worth of IMPACT during the two tapings. On January 25, Manchester’s MEN Arena will host its first ever IMPACT with back-to-back tapings followed by another back-to-back tapings in London at the Wembley Arena.

TMZ.COM is reporting that Hogan is once again seeking $100 million from Gawker and has refiled the case to consolidate his claims against the NY-based media company and Heather Clem, the person who he had sex with in the tape.

Hogan – who already had a lawsuit filed against Clem in Florida – claims that the former wife of Bubba “The Love Sponge” played a part in leaking the sex tape to the media.

Gawker posted a one minute video clip of Hulkamania running wild all over Clem a few months ago and then gave a detailed description of the whole video, almost blow by blow.

His lawsuit against Bubba was dropped after the two reached an agreement out of court and then Bubba apologized twice to Hogan on his radio show.

Channel 10 in Tampa covered the launch with a live link during the news, even managing a short interview with the WWE Hall of Famer.

Hogan showed up for the masquerade event decked in all white with a bandana and obviously a mask, accompanied by his wife. Hogan told Channel 10 that you can’t wrestle forever so it was a good choice to branch out in this business using his image and likeness.

Last night, Ric Flair and his daughter Ashley dropped by at the restaurant and Hogan posted the photos on his Twitter and referred to Flair in the photo as “The MASTER.”

The Hulkster wanted 4 things for Christmas – thirty years of his life, a 747 jet, a knee surgery, and hair!

Regarding getting back 30 years of his life back, he said he wouldn’t change anything and do all the things he’s done all over again including wrestling the same matches.

On the 747 plane, he said he’d like to get his private jet plane again however he doesn’t want a Learjet or anything small so he can take all his fellow wrestlers on board with him.

Hogan had several surgeries throughout his career but he needs one more, on his right knee, to get back in the ring/ “Then I’m going to go for the TNA world title. I want to be 58 years old and be the champion,” Hogan said.

Now the WWE Hall of Famer and TNA regular has announced his latest venture – a 20,000 square-foot indoor and outdoor restaurant and bar titled Hogan’s Beach, located at the Best Western Bay Harbor Hotel in Tampa, Florida.

After the Hurricane passed and everything was either washed away or ruined, the dad called the Hulk Hogan Beach Store and talked to the manager about his situation.

The manager eventually talked to the Hulkster and Hulk recorded a video message on Facebook for the family, called the son over the phone to talk to him and even sent the family a bunch of Hulk Hogan memorabilia all autographed to kickstart their collection again.

Attorneys for Gawker said in the response that Hogan admitted that he lied and cheated in his books and admitted he was an adulterer in one of his two books so the video couldn’t have caused any more harm.

Gawker also says that the website didn’t record the tape, it just published it and since Hogan is a celebrity it was newsworthy for everyone.

The company is also trying to invoke the law that protect news sources so they don’t have to reveal the identity of the individual who leaked them the footage.

“Just for the record, Bubba and I are NOT friends and never will be friends,” Hogan wrote in a message on Twitter before once again stating that the two are not friends with not written in capital letters.

Hogan sued Bubba and his ex-wife Heather Cole over their involvement in the sex tape. The lawsuit against Bubba was settled out of court with the details remaining confidential. Bubba issued a press release eating back all the words he said about Hulk and also mentioned it twice on his radio show.

Details on the settlement remain unknown however the popular DJ issued a statement to the media with a public apology and retraction to his comments from a few weeks ago.

“After further investigation, I am now convinced that Hulk Hogan was unaware of the presence of the recording device in my bedroom. I am convinced he had no knowledge that he was being taped. Additionally, I am certain that he had no role in the release of the video,” Bubba said.

During an appearance on the Howard Stern show, Bubba claimed that Hogan knew he was being filmed and blamed him for the release of the tape.

“It is my belief that Terry is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video’s release in any way.”

Bubba continued saying that the things he said about Hulk and his kids were not true and he was deeply sorry for his reaction and additional pain that he caused to his family.

“I am committed to helping Hulk and his attorneys find whoever is responsible for the release of the tape and holding them accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” the statement says.

Hogan’s lawsuit against Gawker Media is still proceeding as planned.
