Beth Phoenix wraps up her WWE duties

Beth Phoenix made her last WWE appearance on RAW as the former Women’s and Divas champion wrapped up her duties after handing in her notice last month.

Phoenix was “fired” from the show by Vickie Guerrero for losing her match against AJ even though Guerrero eventually restarted the match and Phoenix won a couple of seconds later.

Beth Phoenix joined WWE in 2004 and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling under a developmental deal and then made her WWE television debut in May 2006, aligning herself with Trish Stratus.

During her time in WWE, she won the Women’s title on three different occasions and the Divas title once along with being awarded a Slammy Award for the Diva of the Year in 2008.

Former WWE Divas champion Beth Phoenix has given her notice and will be departing WWE by the end of next month.

Phoenix took some extended personal time off recently after a death in her family and it seems that she hasn’t recovered yet.

The 31 year old New York native made her WWE debut in May 2006 on RAW, aligning herself with Trish Stratus. Her debut was short lived after suffering a fractured mandible that kept her on the sidelines for a year.

During her WWE stint, she won the WWE Women’s title on three different occasions, the Divas title once, the Slammy Award for Diva of the Year, and also joined the very rare group of women who participated in the Royal Rumble.
