- Everyone was expecting former 7 time Women's champion Trish Stratus to be at WrestleMania 25 participating in the battle royal however Stratus declined the offer when WWE approached her to show up for the big event.

"I’ve always said to come out of retirement is a big deal to me, so if I was to come out it is for something special," Trish told SLAM! Wrestling.

"To be honest, I feel WrestleMania is a place to create memorable moments in one’s career and frankly, with 25 women in the ring, I was just not sure how anyone could come out having their 'Wrestlemania moment,' maybe if it was a little clearer that could be accomplished for someone, I would have been a part of it," she added.

Trish spoke how she wanted to watch WrestleMania at home with her family for once and how she didn't want to wear out her welcome, nothing she returned for a match on RAW late last year.

"If I were to go back, I would like to do something that is new and fresh, there are so many girls right now that can work, I’d want to be able to mix it up with someone I hadn’t gotten the chance to before I left."
