- Former WWE Intercontinental champion Ken Shamrock was supposed to main event yesterday's EliteXC show against Kimbo Slice on CBS however everything got changed after Shamrock suffered a cut over his left eye during training earlier in the day and was not medically cleared to fight. More than one doctor looked at Shamrock - who received six sutures - and all decided that Shamrock shouldn't fight in that condition. Shamrock was interviewed during the show and apologized for what happened and still wanted to go and fight. Seth Petruzelli - whose MMA record was 10-4 and was a semi finalist in UFC's The Ultimate Fighter season 2 - was the last minute replacement and got the big upset by knocking the hell out of tough guy Kimbo Slice in 14 seconds. "Rocky! Rocky is here! Seth Petruzelli shocks the world," screamed the play by play announcer. Hulk Hogan and his daughter Brooke were in attendance and were shown on TV during the introduction of the main event. You can see the intro and short fight below.
