- Mickey Rourke was awarded the 2009 Film Independent Spirit Award in the Best Male Lead for his performance as Randy 'The Ram' Robinson in 'The Wrestler'.

Catching his director Darren Aronofsky off guard, Rourke kissed him twice on the lips after his name was announced as the winner. Rourke then proceeded to give one of the funniest...and rudest acceptance speeches ever at an award ceremony which left the whole crowd in stitches. Oh yeah, he also forgot the name of his co-star Marisa Tomei.
