- Mickey Rourke won a Golden Globe award for his role as Randy 'The Ram' Robinson in the critically acclaimed movie 'The Wrestler'. The movie also won an award for the best song which is performed by Bruce Springsteen and is titled as the name of the movie. Rourke is expected to be nominated for an Academy Award as well. During his acceptance speech, Rourke thanked director Darren Aronofsky for bringing the best out of him and called him "one tough son of a bitch," to which Aronofsky jokingly gave him the middle finger in full camera view!
