- Mickey Rourke is flying high as he won the British Academy Film Award for a leading actor yesterday at the Royal Opera House in London, England.
The usually foul-mouthed Rourke didn't disappoint in his acceptance speech, thanking director Darren Aronofsky for giving him a second chance after, "I f*cked up my career for fifteen years."
Rourke also thanked his agent David Unger for "putting his career in jeopardy" to represent him and then thanked his publicist Paula Woods for telling him "where to go, what to do, when to do it, what to eat, what to dress and what to f*ck."
The usually clean Awards show had to be bleeped twice to cancel out Rourke's two f-bombs. Rourke added that his co-star Marisa Tomei was very brave to be naked all the time and said that he really enjoyed looking at her.
Rourke's speech drew several laughs from the crowd and the host then thanked Rourke and said that after that speech he'll be suspended for three months, a joke since the show aired on BBC who recently suspended two hosts Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand for pulling a prank call involving the f-bomb as well.
You can see the video of his speech below.
