TMZ.COM is reporting that the Los Angeles City Attorney has filed criminal charges against WWE Hall of Famer Rowdy Roddy Piper for his DUI arrest on July 2.

Piper was pulled over by the cops when he was in Hollywood, CA., and was given a sobriety test on the spot. Piper failed and was jailed immediately after with bail set at $5,000.

Piper was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence and one count of driving without a valid license.

Today in court he pleaded not guilty to both charges. If he's convicted he can face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. He's due back in court sometime in August.
