- After the story and videos made their way online, a representative from Jake 'The Snake' Roberts tried to do some damage control saying that Roberts was drugged by somebody who gave him an open container at the venue which he was told was just a cold drink. The rep says that Roberts doesn't remember a thing between that time and the time he woke up the next morning in his motel, "alone, beaten and injured." Roberts was one of the individuals who accepted WWE's offer to go to drug and alcohol rehab all paid by the company and his rep said that he took it "very seriously" even though it was revealed that before his match he was sitting in a bar drinking alcohol, again. TMZ.COM also adds to the story that almost two dozen of empty airplane bottles of Vodka were found next to his wrestling gear.
