- In early June of this year, the National Wrestling Alliance inducted Ric Flair into its Hall of Fame at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA., along with the Iron Sheik, Tommy Rich, The Midnight Express The Corsica Brothers and Nikita Koloff. Ric Flair was initially set to appear at the ceremony however WWE pulled the plug on his appearance citing contractual obligations. With Flair out of WWE, the Nature Boy himself will now be collecting his award and presented with the honor at the RMB Fairgrounds in Robstown, TX., on October 4th during the NWA 60th Anniversary Tour stop. Flair will be doing a meet and greet session prior to the event which starts at 7:30PM benefiting the area’s Boys and Girls Club. More information on tickets can be obtained at rmbfairgrounds.com .
