- Representatives for Jake 'The Snake' Roberts released a statement regarding the incident at the independent wrestling show in Cleveland, OH., just over a week ago where Roberts wrestled while looking drunk and after he was spotted at a bar earlier in the night. Roberts accepted WWE's offer to enter rehab all expenses paid but 'The Snake' admitted that he fell off the wagon once again. The statement said that Roberts was drugged after he accepted a drink and the video ended up on YouTube shortly afterward showing Roberts barely able to stand up while in the ring. "I have never been so frightened in my life. As a person who has struggled with alcoholism, I know what it is to have had one too many. This was something totally different. It is as if I am coming out of amnesia," Roberts said in the statement. "This has been a terrifying experience. I do not want anyone else to have to go through this kind of thing," he added.
