- A few weeks ago when Ric Flair appeared for the 1PW organization in the UK, he said that he is considering a return to the ring in Japan as long as Shawn Michaels gives him his blessing since he promised him his last match at WrestleMania XXIV. Flair said this while participating in a Q and A session with fans prior to the actual show where he also appeared and cut a promo in the ring later in the evening. Now, the WWE Hall of Famer is saying otherwise. "Absolutely not," Flair told the Charleston Post & Courier newspaper. "That’s just propaganda," he added. Flair apparently forgot that it was actually him who started the rumors and not New Japan.
