Democrats not happy with WWE removing McMahon video

Reported by: Colin Vassallo
Submitted on: Nov 2, 2009 - 9:05:12 PM

WWE flexed their corporate muscles last month and had a video uploaded by the Connecticut Democrats bashing Linda McMahon on YouTube removed, citing copyright material.

Now the Dems are angry about it and the head of the Connecticut Democrats filed a federal elections complaint against McMahon saying she has received corporate help for her Senate race.

Ed Patru, McMahon's campaign spokesman told the Associated Press that the complaint is just "baseless accusation."

Nancy DiNardo - the individual who filed the report - said the removal amounted to a prohibited in-kind corporate contribution to the McMahon campaign.

The video showed three clips from the WWE's past where Edge and Lita did the live RAW sex celebration, Scott Steiner threatening to rape Stephanie McMahon and Triple H doing his thing with the Katie Vick mannequin.
