- The Post And Courier news website is carrying an article about Ric Flair and his new all-female management company The Gillespie Agency based in Columbia. The article notes that before meeting Flair, his agent Elaine Gillespie didn't know anything about professional wrestling but now the whole company is 'learning the ropes' and helping Flair stay busy in his post-WWE career. "When Ric and WWE parted company, we literally fielded over 1000 inquiries in three days," said Candace Wright, Account Manager. It's also noted that Flair's calendar is booked well into 2009 and there are four reality TV shows offers, six movie roles from indie producers and some Hollywood studios as well as a deal with one of the largest video game companies. Another staff member of the Agency also worked with the Smithsonian National Museum of American History where Flair’s WrestleMania XXIV robe will be on display in the Museum’s Pop Culture exhibit.
