During the Slammiversary TNA pay-per-view yesterday, Dixie Carter made the announcement of who would be the first inductee into the TNA Hall of Fame.
The TNA President asked for everyone in the back to come out for the announcement and then revealed that former NWA, WCW and TNA champion Sting would be the first one in.
A great video showing Sting's impact while at TNA was shown with several TNA Superstars talking about the wrestling legend. Sting stood in the middle of the ramp as he looked over the big screen before walking down to the ring to thank Dixie Carter, the fans and his fellow wrestlers.
A formal ceremony will be held during the Bound For Glory show this coming October.
