TNA
Steiner out for up to six months after ACL surgery

Reported by: Colin Vassallo
Submitted on: Jun 25, 2008 - 9:47:27 PM

- Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner will be out of action for up to six months after he went under the knife to repair a fully torn ACL yesterday in Birmingham, AL. Dr. James Andrews - who performed several similar surgeries on WWE Superstars - did the operation. Steiner was originally injured during the Sacrifice pay-per-view in May but an MRI the next day proved to be inconclusive due to a lot of swelling. Steiner continued to work with the injury for more than a month but Dr. Andrews discovered the tear after Steiner visited the renowned doctor.
