- 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner underwent surgery yesterday in San Juan, Puerto Rico after being injured during the debut show of TNA in San Juan over the weekend. Steiner was kicked in the throat in a tag match where he teamed with Robert Roode facing Jeff Jarrett and Apolo. Dave Meltzer of the Observer reports that Steiner had trouble breathing in the early hours of Monday and was rushed to a local hospital. The match with his his brother Rick as the Steiner Brothers taking on Team 3D at the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view seems to be off the cards as of now.
