Following months of personal attacks against Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, and TNA, Scott Steiner was served with a lawsuit by the company for his trouble.
Steiner has been going on rants on Twitter, accusing Hogan and Bischoff of a lot of things and even attacked Hogan's daughter Brooke. TNA asked him to stop the insults but the former WCW champion didn't really care.
PWInsider.com reports that the lawsuit was filed in Chancery Court for Davidson County, on June 18, and cites breach of contract. Part of the contract states that Steiner would not make any statements that casts TNA or its Superstars or anyone associated with it in a negative way and that he would not use social media or appearances to discuss the company without their prior approval.
TNA is looking for an unspecified amount of money in damages and restitution in court and attorney's fees. The company is also trying to get a permanent injunction from the court to stop Steiner from continuing to harm their image online.
