- Up until today TNA have been advertising The Steiner Brothers vs Team 3D for the TNA tag team titles tonight at the Slammiversary pay-per-view. However Scott Steiner has been injured for the past few weeks and underwent trachea surgery in Puerto Rico the day after he was hit in the throat during a TNA live event in Puerto Rico. Just a few hours ago TNA announced on their website that Scott Steiner will be unable to compete at the PPV when in reality they knew that he was out of the game when he underwent surgery. It is not clear who will be replacing Scott on the show and the site says that Jim Cornette will be making an announcement on the show regarding the situation.
