"Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner has departed TNA Wrestling and is accepting independent bookings which are being handled by Bill Behrens.

Steiner made his TNA debut in March 2006 and stayed there for a few months till August when his short term contract expired. He returned to the company in January 2007 and in June 2008 had surgery to repair a torn ACL in his knee.

Steiner spent four months on the sidelines before resuming his TNA duties where he joined the Main Event Mafia. Last year following the end of MEM, Steiner entered into a feud with Bobby Lashley and at Final Resolution lost a Last Man Standing match against the undefeated MMA fighter, which ended up being his last match for the company.
