- The Gillespie Agency has released a statement just minutes ago regarding Mick Foley, who is now a free agent after his contract expired in the beginning of September. "I will always be grateful to WWE for affording me so many incredible opportunities over the past thirteen years, but feel the time is right to pursue other endeavors," Foley explained, adding that this move frees him up to participate in projects that he couldn't do while working for WWE. The former WWE champion confirmed the rumors of him going to TNA. "I can confirm I have had discussions with TNA Wrestling and have come to a short-term agreement. I am very excited about the specifics of this agreement and the potential it holds," he said. Foley is also working on his fourth wrestling book. The Gillespie Agency also represents Ric Flair and Rowdy Roddy Piper.
