Opening segment shows still photos of the Bobby Roode/James Storm steel cage match from Lockdown with commentary from Mike Tenay. Then, they showed post match commentary from James Storm.
Live in the Impact Zone, Bobby Roode is coming to the ring. He tells the fans that he promised them he would beat Storm and he did. He says he is still the it factor, the leader of the selfish generation and the TNA Heavyweight Champion. All while the fans are chanting "Shut the hell up." Roode says he has beaten all of our heroes. There is no one left for him to beat.
Mr Anderson's music hits. He comes out and says you've never beat me. They go back and forth for about a minute until Jeff Hardy's music hits. Hardy comes out and says he beat Angle and is ready for a title shot. Hardy and Anderson argue over who should get the next title match, with Roode egging them on in the background. It starts to get a little intense, but no blows, a couple of refs come out to get between them.
Hogan shows up on the big screen. Tells Roode that he wants to see him and all of the champions in the ring later tonight for an announcement. He then sets the main event for the night, Hardy vs Anderson with the winner becoming #1 Contender at Sacrifice.
Match # 1 Crimson and Bully Ray vs Matt Morgan and Austin Aries
When I am reading recaps of a show I haven't seen, I don't really like the play-by-play. So, I will just give the finish.
Bully Ray reverses a brain buster from Austin Aries and rolls him up, with a handful of trunks, for the win.
As we go to commercial, we see Garrett Bischoff on his way to the ring.
After the break, a backstage interview with Jeff Hardy. Hardy says he beat Angle and he thinks he deserves a title shot. But Anderson also deserves a shot. Anderson just woke my ass up.
Garret Bischoff is walking to the ring with AJ, RVD and Anderson. They show still photos of the match from Lockdown. Garrett says Sunday night was one of the biggest nights of his life. With my team behind me, me and my team came out on top and got rid of 'my old man' once and for all.
Ric Flair comes out tells the crowd to shut up and pay attention. Flair says all of you in the ring are here only because of Bischoff (they bleeped Bischoff). Flair calls Garrett a disrespectful disgrace. Flair will throw a party next week to celebrate the career of Bischoff. Garrett, AJ, RVD and Anderson are not invited. They look completely disappointed.
Backstage, we see Daniels and Kaz. Daniels says tonight we are finally gonna find out why they turned on AJ.
Match #2 Kurt Angle vs AJ Styles
Daniels and Kaz come out during the match. With Angle down, Daniels jumps onto the apron and gives AJ the envelope containing the secret. Angle rolls up a distracted AJ for the win.
Another segment with Abyss brother.
All of the champions are coming to the ring. They show Hogan in the back talking to RVD. HH thanks RVD for helping him get rid of ******** and then puts RVD into the main event with Hardy and Anderson.
Hogan is coming down to the ring for his announcement. Starting next week, and once a month from now on, will be what Hogan calls 'Open Fight Night'. A wrestler from outside TNA will get to be on Impact and compete to earn a TNA contract. Also, anybody on the roster can challenge anybody else on the roster to a fight. Pretty cool, right?
Roode and Gail Kim complain. Hogan says to all the champions you had better be ready because you can be challenged at any time. He also wants to hear from the fans, so hit him up on twitter and facebook. Hogan then tells DVon that the TV title should be and will be defended every week, no matter what.
Yayyyy it's a Knockouts Match!! Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, Rosita and Sarita vs Tara, Brooke, Mickie James and Velvet Sky
I've gotta say, I am so happy that Rosita, Sarita and Brooke are getting back in the ring.
All 8 women are brawling, Gail Kim gets Brooke in the ring for the pin, her feet are on the ropes. Velvet knocks them off. Kim is yelling at Velvet outside the ring. Brooke gets the roll up for the win.
Backstage with Anderson. We find out he's excited about Open Fight Night. But first, he's gonna take care of RVD and Hardy to get a shot at Roode.
We see ODB and EY poolside on their honeymoon, talking about the wedding. EY thinks the pool attendant is staring at ODB. He takes off his pants and runs him off.
Match #4 Devon vs Gunner for the TV Title
Devon wins and retains the title.
James Storm makes his way to the ring. Devon shakes his hand on the ramp and they hug. Cowboy apologizes to his family, friends and fans for not winning the TNA Title. He talks about how disappointed he was that he didn't win the title. But Roode didn't beat him, he beat himself. He thanked the fans for standing behind him. He talks about how Roode told him his luck has ran out. Maybe that's true. Then, he put the microphone down in the middle of the ring and walked out.
And now the #1 Contenders Match RVD vs Jeff Hardy vs Mr Anderson
I would like to thank the cameraman for that toe to head pan on Christy Hemme. I look forward to that every week.
RVD hits the 5 star frog splash on Anderson. He gets up and stumbles into Hardy for the twist of fate, reverses that into a back slide for the pin.
RVD is the new #1 contender and will challenge Bobby Roode at Sacrifice.
