Bobby Roode comes to the ring talking about how he beat Jeff Hardy and the crowd chants for Hardy. He cuts a promo and the people keep chanting so Roode invites Hardy to the ring to let Hardy shake his hand. Instead Sting comes down and and says that tonight, they'll be a rematch pitting Roode once again against Hardy FOR TONIGHT!!!
We see Matt Morgan and Crimson, coming out of a store, talking about their match against Robbie E and Robbie T tonight.
(TAG TEAM MATCH) Crimson and Matt Morgan (c) vs Robbie E and Robbie T: The champs win but post-match, Samoa Joe and Magnus attacks the champs leaving them lying.
Sting sees Garrett Bischoff in a referee shirt. Sting tells him to take the shirt off because he's now a wrestler and Sting welcomes Garrett to the roster.
Eric Bischoff is in the ring and cuts a promo on Garrett. Eric says that Garrett's dreams will get him hurt. This brings Garrett out. Garrett takes the microphone and tells Eric he's a wrestler and not going anywhere.
Garrett ends the segment by grabbing Eric and backing up against the corner and tells Eric that he has a new trainer and that Eric will be shocked to find out who he is. Finally he tells Eric never to put Eric's hands on Garrett again.
We see Angelina Love and Winter walking to the ring talking about how TNA will see the real Winter and Angelina, both former knockouts champs.
(KNOCKOUTS MATCH) ODB (w/Eric Young) vs Winter (w/Angelina Love): Mid match Love tries to interfere and EY puts her in the airplane spin. ODB slams Winter for the win.
AJ calls Kazarian out and demands to know why Kaz turned his back on him. Kaz refuses to explain saying he can't. Daniels comes out and says he can explain. He says that AJ has done nothing but lose which makes AJ a lost cause. Daniels and AJ brawl and Kaz breaks it up and pulls Daniels out of the ring and to safety.
James Storm in the ring saying if he has a problem with someone, he tells it to their face. He then calls Kurt Angle out. Storm calls Angle a cheater. Then Storm knocks the mike out of Angle's hand. Storm challenges Angle to another match. Angle refuses saying he beat Storm already.
Sting comes out and sets a number one contendership match pitting Storm vs Angle. Angle says he's not there tonight to wrestle. Sting tells him to get his gear on because the match starts after the commercial. Sting also says that in the Hardy vs Roode match, if Roode gets intentionally DQ'd, the title will change hands. Angle runs from the ring to put his gear on.
(#1 CONTENDER MATCH) Kurt Angle vs James Storm: When the bell rings, no Angle so the ref starts counting Angle out. When the ref gets to 5, we see Angle coming running out finishing putting on singlet. Storm dominates most of the match. Storm goes for the ankle lock but Angle kicks out.
Then Angle grabs the beer bottle, tries to hit Storm with it then drinks from it and tries to spray Storm with it. Finally Storm hits his Last Call superkick. Storm pins Angle for the win. Storm will now face the winner of the Hardy/Roode match next week. This title match is next.
Madison Rayne catches up with Sting. She asks to be VP of the Knockouts. Sting refuses suggesting instead that next week, it'll be Madison Rayne vs Mickie James in a cage match.
(MAIN EVENT FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP) Robert Roode (c) vs Jeff Hardy: They brawl on the floor before the bell with Hardy getting the advantage. Finally they take it in the ring and the bell rings. Hardy maintains his advantage with Roode getting little or no advantage.
Jeff Hardy missed a move and hurt himself by dropping a leg on the safety barrier at ringside. He nearly gets counted out by rolls into the ring at the last second literally. Roode takes over on offense. After an onslaught of offense, Hardy gets the swanton bomb on Roode and goes for the pin. At the 2 count, Bubba Ray pulls Roode out. Roode knocks the ref out. I guess it's a no-contest.
